The tower crane industry, to meet in Miami
The city of Miami was one of the U.S. most booming areas for construction in 2017, despite the problems caused by Hurricane Irma to the local tower crane industry last September. Probably because of these two reasons, "The Magic City" was chosen to hold the "Tower Crane North America" conference on June 18 and 19 2018 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel.
This event, solely dedicated to the tower crane industry, will bring together some of the main contractors and companies in the sector thanks to an interesting program that will include topical issues, legislation, market trends, safety, new tower crane uses and applications, etc. With such wide range of themes, this conference will be attractive not only for companies in the U.S. or Canada, but also for many coming from Latin America.
Besides attending the conference, Comansa will also participate as one of the main sponsors of the event. This interest in the North American market is nothing new, as Comansa started to export to the United States and Canada in the 1980s, and established Comansa America in 2001. From its facilities in both coasts (Pineville, North Carolina, and Centralia, Washington), Comansa is able to provide locally supported services: pre-sales and after-sales assistance, engineering and technical support, assembly and installation, maintenance, spare parts supply, trainings, etc.
In Miami, Comansa will inform all attendees about its latest launches, which will join its already complete range of products in the upcoming months. Comansa currently makes available to the market up to 41 models of flat-top cranes and 14 luffers, with maximum load capacity from 4 to 90 tonnes (8,820 to 198,410 lb), all designed to offer an excellent performance in any type of construction project.
